Common questions

Once Microsoft retires Project Online, you will lose access to all data stored in the platform — projects, timesheets, resources, custom fields, and portfolio data. There is no guarantee that Microsoft will provide a comprehensive export tool. BeyondPO ensures you extract everything you need before the deadline.

No. Our extraction tool runs within your Microsoft 365 tenant. Your data is delivered directly to your own storage. BeyondPO never stores, transmits, or retains a copy of your data.

Most migrations are completed within 1–2 weeks from the discovery session to final delivery. Larger enterprise environments with complex configurations may take slightly longer. We work to your timeline.

Yes. In addition to platform-specific output formats, we deliver your data in universal formats (CSV, Excel, JSON, SQL) that can be imported into virtually any project management tool. We can also work with you on custom mapping for specific platforms.

That's a perfectly valid use case and one of our core scenarios. We can deliver your data as a standalone, queryable SQLite or SQL database that serves as a permanent historical archive — ideal for compliance, audits, and organisational knowledge retention.

Absolutely. While we're based in Australia, our delivery model is async-first and our tool runs in your environment regardless of location. We schedule discovery calls at times that work for your timezone and have already worked with customers globally.

We've built BeyondPO and we're confident it works — but every Project Online environment is different, and we want real-world validation with two organisations who are genuinely ready to migrate. In exchange for a free migration, we ask for your honest feedback and the right to reference you as a pilot customer. It's a fair trade, and we're selective about who we work with.

We'll let you know promptly if you're not a fit for the pilot. From 1 April 2026, we'll be taking on standard engagements — typically ranging from $15,000–$50,000 AUD depending on the size and complexity of your environment. If you apply before the deadline, we're happy to keep you informed.
